Hi, My name is Maria Counts.

I spent much of my childhood growing up on a garden farm in Utah. 

Early on I fell in love with the earth, playing in streams and ponds, growing food and raising polliwogs!  What an adventure it was, everything felt alive and magical, 

this is where I draw my inspiration!   

It is known that Clay has a memory,  I believe that each piece is unique and

carries a bit of their creator in it.  I create because I must, its when I feel most at peace.   

Even though I create some pottery to be useful, I still consider them to be art!

Every Ceramic piece is an original.
